Overview
Part-time Care Assistant role working 24.5 hours per week from 2.30pm to 10.00pm. Full flexibility is required. At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You’ll support residents with their physical, emotional and social wellbeing, including personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, as well as helping with daily activities in the home. You’ll deliver care that respects each resident’s individuality and dignity.
You’ll work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and support residents in both routine and compassionate end-of-life care, responding to distress and providing comfort as needed.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and may undertake additional training. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.

Responsibilities
