Being a Night Manager means taking responsibility for a specific part of the home and delivering the very best level of care, and potentially running the entire place when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. You will prioritise resident dignity and well-being in all duties, including reporting observations, seeking input from others when needed and providing care with compassion. Responsibilities

  • Have proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
  • Demonstrate brilliant, positive energy and the ability to get along with residents and colleagues.
  • Take accountability for shifts and responsibilities, communicating with residents and co-workers with kindness and consideration.
  • Safeguarding: recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
  • Attend safeguarding training relevant to the role and undertake additional training as required.
  • Seek appropriate advice and escalate concerns if action is not taken.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven leadership experience in a care home for vulnerable adults.
  • Strong communication, empathy and team-working abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: £17.70 to £18.70 per hour
  • Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
