About The Role

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As an Activities Co-ordinator , you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, assist the Home Manager with organizing fundraising events, and foster social confidence among Residents. Whether you’re introducing new activities based on Residents’ hobbies or involving the care team, you will do so with kindness and consideration.

We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, and strong planning, organizational, and IT skills are essential. You must communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone\’s responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond and escalate concerns appropriately. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and additional role-specific training.
