Part time role working 3 on 3 off 10-4, 19.25 hours. As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home. Your work will make a real difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
- Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
- Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
- Supporting infection control and safety standards
- Helping with laundry and linen care
- Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
Safeguarding responsibilities
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You should be able to seek advice, report concerns, and if action is not taken, escalation is required.
Qualifications
Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You need to be organised, manage your time well, work with attention to detail, and bring a positive attitude. Kind and respectful in every conversation with Residents, visitors, and your team.
