About the role
As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC‑One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. Our residents are people with rich lives and personal stories. By joining HC‑One, you’ll help give something back — through care, respect, and attention to detail. This role is for 22 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
- Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
- Using cleaning products safely and following hygiene procedures
- Supporting infection control and safety standards
- Helping with laundry and linen care
- Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
What we’re looking for
Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you’ll bring a positive attitude and treat all residents, visitors and team members with kindness and respect.
Safeguarding
All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
