About the role
Part time 24.5 hours a week, 2:30 to 10pm, on a 3 on 3 off rotation.
Day shift position 38.5 hours, 8am to 8pm, on a 3 on 3 off rotation.
Full time nights position 38.5 hours, 8pm to 8am, on a 3 on 3 off rotation.
At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team.
Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will support the physical, emotional and social well‑being of residents.
Duties include personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and assisting with daily activities in the home.
You will deliver compassionate care, ensuring residents maintain individuality.
You will support those with limited mobility, provide comfort to distressed residents, and offer end‑of‑life support when needed.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
You must recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, know what steps to take and complete appropriate safeguarding training.
You are also able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
