As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes. Your work will create a clean, safe, and welcoming home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
  • Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
  • Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
  • Supporting infection control and safety standards
  • Helping with laundry and linen care
  • Reporting any issues or repairs as needed

You’ll take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you’re ticking off tasks or lending a hand, you’ll do it with care and compassion. This part-time role involves 16 hours a week. Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail, bringing a positive attitude and being kind and respectful in every conversation with Residents, visitors, and your team.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and may need to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
