About The Role

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, someone who is able to drive kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As an Activities Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include planning and implementing activities that delight our residents, helping the Home Manager organise fundraising events, and encouraging residents\’ social confidence and hobbies. You will do so with a sense of kindness above all else.

What We\’re Looking For

We seek someone with a background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Beyond that, it’s about your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills, and effective time management. When communicating with residents or colleagues, kindness and consideration are essential.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
