Platform Operations and Release Specialist

In the role of Platform Operations and Release Specialist, you will be highly organised, proactive, have a proven track record of excellent performance under pressure, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. You will support the on-going development of the Virtual Lucy platform; ensuring operational readiness and necessary user knowledge across services. You must be able to prioritise your workload and work with multiple teams and individuals, to ensure continued understanding of the Virtual Lucy platform, and readiness for new services and major platform releases.

Essential Criteria;
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING
- Educated to Degree level
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in operational delivery of digital services
- Experience in using digital platforms
- Track record of delivery of training across teams within a business
- An ability to step in an backfill any shortages in the team.
- Working with a range of multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex services
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Good analytical reasoning (verbal and numerical) and
strong financial management skills
- Strong communication skills, with all tiers of staff
- Stakeholder engagement
- Able to prioritise own workload, delegate appropriately
and manage time effectively.
- Good IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Excellent report writing skills, with an ability to develop
case studies that evidence success across delivered work
- Able to write and deliver presentations to a multidisciplinary audience
- Able to lead, facilitate and motivate a wide range of
- teams to achieve results.

Within this position, you will mainly be;
- Platform Feature Enhancement Analysis & User management: Acting as the HBSUK Operational representative to ensure all new Virtual Lucy platform enhancements and potential ideas are reviewed by all necessary operational teams and stakeholders, against current processes, with process changes and new risks/issues are highlighted and mitigated.
- Training: Working with Clinical Leads to ensure clinician platform-based training and non-platform based supporting materials are up to date and reviewed per Virtual Lucy release. Ensuring appropriate use of new features by all necessary operational stakeholders. Maintaining operational teams’ training materials and making sure they align with any updated SOPs/processes, and that training sessions are scheduled with operational teams where necessary.
- Testing: Assist with platform testing to ensure the platform is fit for purpose and go-live readiness. Responsible lead for setting up and working with internal departments in delivering the plan for Operations team platform testing, (i.e. process-based testing) for NHS & private sector client platform upgrades; and provide relevant input/feedback on platform readiness.
- Platform Stakeholder Management: Implementing & maintaining an appropriate format and maintenance of all operational stakeholder feedback, with systematic feedback mechanisms in place with the HBSUK Product & Technology Teams. Ensuring raised or submitted feedback is documented & there is a place for all feedback status' to be viewed. Ensuring there is a Terms of Reference & appropriate attendees (or delegates) agreed for formalised platform feedback meetings.
- Governance: Detailed knowledge of operational processes supporting the use of Virtual Lucy. Implementing and maintaining appropriate governance and documentation of all platform change impacts on processes, risks, and training.
- Data analysis and reporting: Ensuring any platform changes/updates consider new or updated reporting requirements, to maintain appropriate operational monitoring of Virtual Lucy services.
- Collaboration: Being a key conduit between the different HBSUK departments, and clients, supporting release readiness, service mobilisation, and platform understanding, to a high standard. Outside of release stages, providing operational support to teams through process management and other operational coordination activities.
