The Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager plays a key role in supporting HBSUK to maintain strong governance, regulatory compliance and high-quality standards across its services and operations. In this role, you will deliver the company’s quality, risk and compliance programme including internal audits, risk assessments, policy management and monitoring activities. You will help ensure that processes meet regulatory, clinical and operational requirements while contributing to ongoing improvements that enhance consistency, safety and customer experience.
Working closely with teams across the organisation, you will provide practical advice on compliance expectations, analyse quality and audit data, and support the development of effective processes, controls and corrective actions. Success in this role requires excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement, strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to fostering a positive culture of quality, learning and continuous improvement. You will be reporting to the Risk Director.
To be considered for the role you will require the following:
- Essential Criteria;
- EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in auditing, quality, risk or related fields.
- EXPERIENCE Experience in quality improvement and assurance, compliance, risk management or auditing within a regulated environment.
- Practical experience working with ISO standards.
- KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Ability to analyse data, identify risks and propose practical solutions.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to explain complex requirements in simple terms.
- Good understanding of UK healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to coordinate projects and influence stakeholders.
- Desirable;
- EXPERIENCE Additional qualifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, project management).
- Experience within a regulated healthcare or medical device environment.
- Knowledge of data protection and cybersecurity standards.
