The Senior Producer - Non Live is responsible for leading the planning, editorial supervision, and delivery of non-live content for major international sporting events. The role will involve managing and supporting a team of producers, junior producers, editors, and a team of freelancers during event time. Working closely with the Executive Producer, Senior Producer Live, and Project Director (UK), you’ll play a key role in shaping editorial direction, managing production workflows, and ensuring HBS delivers world-class coverage that meets the highest technical and creative standards.
What you’ll be doing:- Lead the editorial, creative and operational delivery for all the non-live content across broadcast and digital platforms.
- Oversee production planning, timelines, and resource coordination across all departments.
- Exercise editorial and creative control on the output, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with HBS standards.
- Collaborate with on-screen talent, editorial teams, and technical partners to develop compelling content and format.
- Act as a key liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices across productions.
- Develop and coach junior members of the team to help them grow throughout the season.
- Significant experience as a Senior Producer in Non Live on high-profile live sport broadcasts, agencies, or rights holders.
- Strong knowledge of live international broadcast operations (volume of content expected, turnaround times for features, and working on-site).
- Proven ability to manage a creative team, including on-screen talent (essential).
- Understanding and knowledge of the basketball ecosystem – broadcast production, fandom, culture, and lifestyle.
- Excellent organisational skills, with confidence managing several shoots and edit teams (essential).
- Calm decision-maker who thrives under pressure and can adapt quickly in live environments.
