UK-based role, with travel required. Join us at the forefront of live sports broadcast innovation. We’re on the hunt for a Production Manager who thrives in high-pressure environments, excels at managing complex productions, and is passionate about delivering world-class sports content.

Please note, this role requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Central London and international travel (including long-term trips).

What you’ll be doing

  • Production Leadership & Innovation
    • Develop and manage comprehensive production plans across live and non-live content.
    • Support the editorial team in defining workflows and procedures to achieve a world-class coverage.
    • Lead the implementation of specialised cameras in coordination with Engineering department.
    • Oversee event-time Production delivery, lead post-production, ENG crews, and content management workflows.
  • Team & Resource Management
    • Guide and support a team of project coordinators.
    • Manage relationships with technical suppliers and contractors.
    • Develop and implement staff training programs.
  • Budget & Operations Control
    • Drive production budget forecasting and optimisation.
    • Coordinate scheduling for event deliverables.
    • Ensure seamless collaboration across all HBS departments.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in production or broadcast environment with a focus on live production (OB and or centralised), preferable in sports events.
  • Strong project & supplier management skills in media production.
  • Knowledge of broadcast production standards and equipment.
  • Understanding of production workflows and processes.
  • Experience with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Team leadership skills and coordination abilities.
  • Be fluent in English with excellent communication abilities.
