We’re on the hunt for a Production Manager who thrives in high-pressure environments, excels at managing complex productions, and is passionate about delivering world-class sports content. Please note, this role requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Central London and international travel (including long-term trips).
What you’ll be doing- Develop and manage comprehensive production plans across live and non-live content
- Support the editorial team in defining workflows and procedures to achieve a world-class coverage
- Lead the implementation of specialised cameras in coordination with Engineering department
- Oversee event-time Production delivery, lead post-production, ENG crews, and content management workflows
- Guide and support a team of project coordinators
- Manage relationships with technical suppliers and contractors
- Develop and implement staff training programs
- Drive production budget forecasting and optimisation
- Coordinate scheduling for event deliverables
- Ensure seamless collaboration across all HBS departments
- Proven experience in production or broadcast environment with a focus on live production (OB and or centralised), preferable in sports events
- Strong project & supplier management skills in media production
- Knowledge of broadcast production standards and equipment
- Understanding of production workflows and processes
- Experience with industry-standard software and tools
- Team leadership skills and coordination abilities
- Be fluent in English with excellent communication abilities
