As a Junior Event Manager, you will take full ownership of coordinating various events, from small meetings to large corporate events. This is an office-based role where you will work closely with the Event Manager and the Workspace Operations team to be the driving force behind the planning and flawless execution of events. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality and memorable experiences. You will be actively involved in every stage to ensure that our high standards are met and that clients feel comfortable throughout the process. - Take full ownership of all operations on the event day, proactively addressing any issues to maintain smooth and stress-free execution.
- Lead the setup and layout of event spaces, taking pride in creating an inviting and professional environment.
- Collaborate closely with clients during the pre-event phase, ensuring their vision is brought to life with precision and creativity.
- Work with the Events Manager to source and organize catering, supplies, and vendors, always keeping timelines and budgets in mind.
- Ensure that every detail – from seating arrangements to tech setup – is prepared in advance, ready for a seamless event day.
- Be the go-to contact for vendors, guests, and staff, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the event.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures to create a safe, enjoyable event atmosphere.
- Handle any client or guest concerns swiftly and efficiently, ensuring their satisfaction and enhancing their experience.
- Leave a positive impression by going the extra mile to make each event memorable and successful.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure all event marketing materials are up to date and aligned with event goals.
- Maintain detailed event documentation, ensuring contracts, schedules, and reports are organized and accurate.
- Provide administrative support to the Events Manager as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the events team.
- Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Workspace Operations Manager or Event Manager.
- Support the Workspace Operations team by carrying out Workspace Operations duties when required, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the space alongside event delivery.

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends, to support events and ensure seamless delivery. This is an office-based role working across two locations.
- 2 years of experience in event management in a client-facing role ideal (we welcome hospitality background).
- This role involves being on your feet for extended periods and occasional manual handling related to event setup and breakdown.
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects, with a track record of delivering successful events that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in event management software and standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Tripleseat).
- Experience managing budgets and resources to ensure efficient, cost-effective event delivery.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with experience applying them in event settings.
- A proactive problem-solver who can stay calm under pressure and think on their feet to deliver the best possible event experience.
