As part of our 2027 Graduate Intake, you'll join a team of highly experienced Structural Engineers, Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers, gaining hands‑on experience across a wide range of specialist projects.

Your Role

As a Graduate Engineer, you'll support the Engineering team in developing safe, efficient and innovative solutions for heavy transport and lifting operations.

Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer, you'll gain exposure to projects from concept through to delivery, working closely with operational teams, clients and fellow engineers.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the development of engineering solutions for complex transport and lifting projects.
  • Produce structural calculations and engineering assessments.
  • Assist with technical proposals and tender submissions.
  • Create and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop practical solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Visit project sites and engage directly with operational teams and customers.
  • Apply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with Osprey's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and continuously seek opportunities to improve engineering processes and solutions.

About You

We're looking for ambitious graduates who are ready to learn, develop and make a real impact.

You'll have:

  • A degree Ideally 2:2 in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or Construction Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar engineering software.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A positive attitude, curiosity and a genuine passion for engineering.
