I currently have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join an established housebuilder on an exciting new residential development in Tameside, Greater Manchester.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established developer with a strong presence across the Northwest and a reputation for delivering high-quality new homes and creating new communities.
Youll be joining the team at the very beginning of a brand-new development in, initially delivering over 70 new houses as part of a major regeneration scheme.
For an Assistant Site Manager, that makes this a particularly interesting opportunity. Rather than joining an established site halfway through the build programme, youll be involved from the early stages and gain exposure to the development as it progresses from initial groundworks through to completed homes and customer handovers.
Working closely with the Site Manager, youll help manage the day-to-day running of the development, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining build quality and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained throughout.
Responsibilities
Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day management and delivery of the development.
Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Ensure compliance with construction methods, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
Monitor build quality throughout each stage of construction, carrying out inspections and identifying any remedial works required.
Manage snagging and ensure plots are completed to the required standard ahead of customer handover.
Coordinate materials, suppliers and utility companies to ensure the build programme remains on track.
