We are looking for an experienced Utilities Coordinator or Utilities Manager to join a well-established housebuilder, supporting residential developments across the Northwest. You will manage utility infrastructure from initial feasibility through to connection and completion, working closely with Construction, Commercial, Technical and Design teams. The role will coordinate utility providers, statutory authorities and third parties, while managing programme, cost and technical risks to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and on time. This opportunity would suit a Utilities Coordinator, Utilities Manager, Services Manager or Infrastructure Manager with experience supporting large-scale residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information on existing and proposed utility services to support the assessment and appraisal of new development opportunities.
  • Coordinate utility applications, quotations and orders, ensuring these are progressed early enough to meet project programmes.
  • Manage the delivery of utility infrastructure and connections, including both off-site and on-site works.
  • Work with construction teams to establish appropriate strategies and sequencing for utility installations and final connections.
  • Develop and maintain utility programmes for individual developments, highlighting key dates, dependencies and potential risks.
  • Coordinate with statutory authorities, utility providers, independent connection providers and other relevant third parties.
  • Support Commercial teams with the procurement of mechanical, electrical and utility-related packages, including preparation of scopes, assessment of quotations and attendance at pre-order meetings.
  • Assist with the commercial review of contractor and supplier.
