We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Customer Care Operative to join a leading residential housebuilder, working across new-build developments throughout Cheshire This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll be trusted to visit homeowners, identify issues and carry out high-quality remedial works. No two days will be exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can turn their hand to a range of trades and understands the importance of delivering a great customer experience. A joinerybackground would be particularly desirable, although we're equally interested in hearing from experienced multi-trade professionals from other backgrounds. The Role Working within customers' new-build homes, you'll manage your own workload and complete a variety of remedial, maintenance and finishing works to a high standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Carrying out remedial and maintenance works within new-build properties Completing joinery, painting, decorating and general multi-trade repairs Inspecting reported defects, diagnosing issues and identifying the best remedial solution Managing and prioritising your workload to complete appointments within agreed timescales Delivering a high standard of workmanship while keeping disruption to homeowners to a minimum Providing customers with a professional, friendly and reassuring service throughout your visit Completing job reports and updates electronically using a mobile operative system Liaising with subcontractors, other trades and customer care teams when required Providing clear information on defects and any additional works required Working safely and in accordance with relevant Health & Safety requirements What We're Looking For You'll ideally have previous experience within new-build customer care, residential maintenance, snagging or a multi-trade environment. More importantly, you'll be someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates well with customers and is confident working independently in occupied homes. You'll need: Strong all-round property maintenance and remedial skills A joinery or other recognised trade background Experience working within occupied properties and dealing directly with customers Excellent communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work Basic IT skills and confidence using mobile apps and job-reporting systems A full UK driving licence Please contact HBF Recruitment for further information on this opportunity to join a 5* housebuilder.
