Job details: HBE are hiring an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join the team, delivering planned maintenance for a long‑standing client.
What you will do:
- Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets, calorifiers, and water systems
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers
- Conduct water heater and calorifier inspections
- Complete cold water tank inspections
- Perform TMV fail‑safe checks and servicing
- Ensure all allocated work is completed accurately and on time
- Follow HBE and client operating procedures
- Undertake any other duties required as part of the role
Who you are:
- At least one year of hands‑on experience in Legionella monitoring
- Holder of a full UK driving licence
- Legally entitled to work in the UK
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused in your approach
Benefits:
- 39 hour working week
- Overtime rates: Time and a half for evenings and Saturdays & Double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays
- 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 additional day after 2 years’ service, up to a maximum of 25 days
