HBE UK is a water hygiene and compliance specialist supporting commercial clients with management of Legionella and water system risks. We help clients remain compliant with HSG274 and related legislation, delivering reliable, nationwide support via experienced field‑based engineering teams. We are part of the Celnor Group, a UK-based environmental services group operating across the Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) landscape.
HBE is hiring an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join the field‑based team, delivering planned maintenance for a long‑standing client. This hands‑on role involves daily travel and plays a key part in maintaining safe, compliant water systems.
What you will do:
- Carry out temperature monitoring of outlets, calorifiers, and water systems
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of showers
- Conduct water heater and calorifier inspections
- Complete cold water tank inspections
- Perform TMV fail‑safe checks and servicing
- Ensure all allocated work is completed accurately and on time
- Follow HBE and client operating procedures
- Undertake any other duties required as part of the role
Who you are:
- At least one year of hands‑on experience in Legionella monitoring
- Holder of a full UK driving licence
- Legally entitled to work in the UK
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused in your approach
Benefits:
- 39 hour working week
- Overtime rates: Time and a half for evenings and Saturdays & double time for Sundays and bank holidays
- 22 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing by one additional day after 2 years' service, up to a maximum of 25 days
