HBE UK is a water hygiene and compliance specialist supporting commercial clients with the management of Legionella and water system risks. HBE UK helps clients remain compliant with HSG274 and related legislation, delivering reliable, nationwide support via experienced field-based engineering teams. Part of the Celnor Group, a UK-based environmental services group across Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC). Celnor provides services that protect people, property and the environment, supported by a central group function that invests in people, systems and long-term sustainable growth.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our Water Hygiene teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery across a portfolio of long-standing clients. Acting as a key link between Engineers, Clients, and Senior Management, you will drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you will do:

  • Manage day-to-day operations and performance of the Water Hygiene team
  • Provide technical support and leadership across the client portfolio and field teams
  • Line manage Engineers, Risk Assessors, and Plumbers, including reporting calls, reviews, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, H&S standards, and industry regulations through audits and site visits
  • Deliver monthly operational and performance reports to senior management
  • Coordinate training, equipment, PPE, materials, and calibration requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams
