We operate in London (6 sites), Lisbon (1 site) and Kolkata. Each location and restaurant captures the essence of the city\'s cultural roots, offering a unique dining experience that resonates with our founders’ personal story and passion for exquisite cuisine

This is an exciting Training and Recruitment role within a small restaurant business, with big ideas! Working closely with operational managers and key decision makers, you will have responsibility for fine-tuning the recruitment and training processes and the opportunity to develop your generalist HR skills. Currently 5 sites in London, and 1 in Lisbon there is a pipeline of further London and international openings. This role would suit an operational hospitality Manager, with significant experience in recruiting and training, who wants to develop

This is a part-time role, circa 24 hours, 3 days per week - pattern of working days and hours can be negotiated. FTE earnings between £40-45k pa, so pro-rata up to £22.5k pa part-time.

This role is employee facing, so regular remote working cannot be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing recruitment, selection and the onboarding process including sourcing and interviewing talent at all levels.
  • Implementing and managing the company’s communication, feedback and reward and recognition systems
  • Assessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs (group, 1 to 1, and online) accordingly
  • Setting and managing employee benefits
  • Ensuring that a company’s procedures comply with employment regulations with the support of an external HR Advisor
  • Supporting the managers to hold regular job chats and performance improvement discussions
  • Supporting in any disciplinary processes and formal grievances

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant experience in recruitment and training (group and one to one), at site management level or above in the hospitality sector in the UK.
  • Excellent written and verval communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideas
  • Strong leadership skills to influence senior stakeholders as well as connect with, support and motivate front line staff
  • Must be able to demonstrate very strong organisational skills and attention to detail, while working at pace.
  • Solid ethics and morals and sound judgement
  • Ability to work productively within an ambiguous, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment while implementing systems and processes to support expansion
