Gunpowder is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our Soho restaurant. Gunpowder is a contemporary Indian restaurant group, known for bold flavours, warm hospitality and vibrant, high-energy service. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, builds strong teams, and takes real ownership of the guest experience and day-to-day operations of a busy London restaurant.

The role

  • As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including:
  • Leading and developing the team through clear, supportive and consistent management
  • Delivering an exceptional guest experience, every service
  • Overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards across service, food and cleanliness
  • Hiring, training and developing team members to build a motivated, high-performing team
  • Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service
  • Managing staffing levels and labour in line with business needs
  • Maintaining compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
  • Supporting financial and operational goals through strong organisation and commercial awareness
