Our client is a major global drinks business seeking to hire a brilliant insight and creative planning practitioner to work with the brand team to drive the growth of a fantastic brand across its global footprint. This individual will lead the consumer planning agenda on a world renowned brand and will ensure that a deep understanding of consumers will be translated into actionable plans, priorities and assets, creating real value for the brand and the overall business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead consumer planning on a key brand to shape the direction of global brand plans, priorities and assets with strategic thinking and depth of consumer insight.
  • Ensure the global brand team has a deep understanding of their target consumer.
  • Inspire the brand team and ensure that all activities are aligned with and underpinned by a common base of consumer insight.
  • Establish and develop the consumer target and opportunity in priority markets, specifically focusing on insight work that will deliver the most value.
  • Ensure all facets of the company's brand building are informed with consumer understanding with specific focus on global brand positioning, brand identity and global communications.
  • Ensure the global brand team assets - particularly communications and innovation - are created, developed and tested with a deep understanding of consumers and evaluated against agreed standards.
  • Lead ad hoc research that identifies consumer opportunities for growth and ensures all local insight on the brand aligns to the standard and priorities of the global brand team.

Experience

  • You will have worked in insights/creative planning for more than 10 years and have worked for a brand directly for a significant part of that time. (Agency experience is relevant but cannot be exclusive.)
  • You will have experience in FMCG, drinks and potentially, have worked on luxury brands.
  • You will have a demonstrable track record of driving brand growth through your work.

  • You will have an understanding of how premium brands operate across different geographies.
