About this role:
Our HBA Architecture studio in London is looking for a Senior Associate with a strong background in hospitality project delivery to help lead the technical and executional side of our growing studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned architect with proven experience in luxury hotel projects to drive quality, manage teams, and work directly with clients and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role as Senior Associate – Hospitality Project Architect is to:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex hospitality projects.
- Lead internal teams and external consultants across all stages, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Work closely with the Design Director and Principals to align design intent with technical execution.
- Act as a client lead and point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Implement best practices and mentor mid-level team members.
- Contribute to studio growth and help shape HBA Architecture’s delivery culture in London.
Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:
- 12+ years of professional experience, with significant time in the hospitality sector.
- Right to work in the UK and currently based in the UK
- Strong leadership in project delivery, from design to construction.
- Experienced in managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating consultants.
- Proficient in Revit and BIM processes, with a good grasp of workflows and QA/QC.
- ARB/RIBA registered (or eligible).
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Able to stay calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and a natural team player.
