Hey Baby 4D is a leading private 4D ultrasound clinic franchise, and we are delighted to be opening a new clinic in Sedgley, Wolverhampton. We are currently seeking an experienced and registered Obs / Gynae Sonographer to join our team, working on either a full-time or part-time basis from spring 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality non-diagnostic obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scans, while providing an exceptional, patient-centred experience to our clients.
The Sonographer will promote a patient-focused approach to care, ensuring all clinical and client areas are safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose. You will be required to work with complex and sensitive information, act as a patient advocate, and consistently maintain patient dignity and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting a wide range of prenatal scans, including early pregnancy reassurance and dating scans, through to late pregnancy 4D scans
- Producing high-quality ultrasound images and videos
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and making appropriate, high-quality referrals where required
- Carrying out phlebotomy services for NIPT screening (training can be provided if not already phlebotomy trained)
- Working closely with the management team to ensure a premium client experience
- Ensuring a consistently high standard of patient care at all times
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, infection control, and hygiene throughout the clinic
- Following the ALARA principles and BMUS guidelines
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified and experienced Sonographer with a strong understanding of ultrasound best practice. You must be registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council), GMC (General Medical Council), or BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society).
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- The ability to provide suitable professional references
