HB Tunnelling Design & Engineering Team is expanding due to increasing workloads in the civil engineering sector. We’re an established, forward-thinking engineering consultancy delivering innovative solutions across infrastructure, transport, energy, and built environment sectors. With major projects across the UK, we’re expanding our team and looking for talented Structural Engineers — from bright graduates to experienced senior principle professionals — to help us shape a safer, more sustainable future.

We are specialists in tunnelling, trenchless and underground engineering works and work closely with our clients in Early Contractor Involvement to undertake feasibility studies, options reviews and FEED designs, leading onto detailed design and construction by our delivery teams.

  • Relevant engineering degree (BEng, MEng, MSc in Civil, Structural Engineering)
  • Knowledge of UK Third party approval processes, Network Rail, CRT, National Highways etc
  • Proficiency in industry tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, PLAXIS, WALLAP, or similar
  • Passion for solving real-world engineering challenges
  • High Work Ethic, Company Engagement & Relationship Building
  • For senior roles: chartership, experience leading projects, mentoring juniors, and liaising with clients
