Scaffolder part 2

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Scaffolder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures for various construction projects mainly residential. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site. The Scaffolder will utilise hand tools and power tools to fabricate scaffolding that meets project specifications while ensuring structural integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with project plans and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding into the overall project.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble scaffolding components.
• Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding for safety compliance and structural stability.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
• Assist in the training of new scaffold builders as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Experience

• Previous experience in scaffolding or a related field is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with roofing, carpentry, electrical work, welding, masonry, or painting is advantageous.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications related to scaffold construction.
• Strong understanding of plumb principles for ensuring vertical alignment of scaffolding structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Pay: £160.00-£210.00 per day
