We are looking for a next-generation engineer to join our ESG function. In this role, you act as the "Technical Engine" of the department. Your job is to ensure our data is accurate, our buildings perform as promised, and our workflows are automated. You will audit external design teams, manage the technical side of our carbon reporting, and build custom AI tools to streamline the rest.

What might appear on your to-do list?

  • Design review of external MEP and Sustainability reports to ensure they aren’t just "ticking boxes."
  • Interrogation of IES-VE and TM54 energy models provided by consultants with the ability to spot the errors and challenge the assumptions.
  • Managing the One Click LCA data flow, ensuring our RICS WLC assessments are accurate and driving material reductions.
  • Managing the evidence gathering process for BREEAM, NABERS UK, and WELL certifications, ensuring consultants are on track.
  • Developing a precise manual of certification requirements and creation of an environment for integrating certification inputs based on operational reality.
  • Processing and managing a comprehensive summary of certification requirements for operations.
  • Building internal tools to automate the collection of utility data and certification evidence.
  • Creation and maintenance of custom AI agents to synthesise regulatory updates into digestible summaries for the team.
  • Data extraction automation from PDF reports and invoices into our central ESG dashboard.
  • Support for technical data input for annual reporting frameworks (GRESB, SBTi, EPRA, CDP).
  • Analysis of performance data from our assets to identify "performance gaps" between design intent and operational reality.

Do you meet these criteria? You’re already a strong candidate!

  • University degree or equivalent UK qualification (HND/HNC, apprenticeship, or professional certification) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Working towards or recently achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
  • Ideally 3 to 4 years of professional experience in Building Services or Sustainability Consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of building physics as Thermal comfort, HVAC Systems and Operational Energy are a must have.
  • Experience with NABERS UK Design for Performance and CIBSE TM54.
  • Competent user of IES-VE or a similar modelling software.
  • Demonstrable interest in automation and AI Fluency is key.
  • Power BI or Tableau experience is welcome.
  • Curiosity and proactive approach defines your work style.
  • Aiming towards a solution and fixing a process is essential.
  • Excellent communicator who can easily explain tech details to a non-technical audience.

What you can expect from us:

  • Core benefits such as Life assurance, because safety and security matter to us and we care for our employees even in critical situations.
  • A Pension and Group Income Protection Scheme.
  • Flexible benefits to access private Medical care and a cash plan covering optical and dental costs.
  • Workplace benefits represented by award-winning, well-being-focused offices, perfectly located in London centre with flexible working hours with the option to work from home, because we understand that everyone has their own rhythm and pace.
  • Employee Assistance Programme in our premises.
  • Family benefits with enhanced parental support and a workplace Nursery Scheme.
