We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant. This role has become available due to retirement. The role initially is office-based between Ormskirk and Bootle. We are looking for someone available asap. Paying up to £60,000.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on Senior Management Accountant role suited to someone technically strong who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced SME environment. The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver accounts and reports directly to clients
  • Sign off all accounts
  • Take ownership of accounting queries and support the business in achieving targets
  • Support and help strengthen the finance team structure
  • Be willing to get stuck in

Candidate Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant: CIMA, ACA or ACCA
  • Strong technical accounting capability
  • Experience delivering accounts directly to clients
  • Comfortable signing off accounts
  • Strong management accounting background
  • Confident handling high volumes of basic accounting work accurately
  • Happy working across multiple entities and structures
  • Commercial, hands-on and adaptable approach

Working Style

  • Primarily office-based initially
  • Flexible working is available after induction and time established with the systems
  • Some flexibility is required around time differences when working with overseas parts of the business
  • The environment is collaborative and pragmatic, with a strong give-and-take culture
