We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant. This role has become available due to retirement. The role initially is office-based between Ormskirk and Bootle. We are looking for someone available asap. Paying up to £60,000.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on Senior Management Accountant role suited to someone technically strong who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced SME environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver accounts and reports directly to clients
- Sign off all accounts
- Take ownership of accounting queries and support the business in achieving targets
- Support and help strengthen the finance team structure
- Be willing to get stuck in
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant: CIMA, ACA or ACCA
- Strong technical accounting capability
- Experience delivering accounts directly to clients
- Comfortable signing off accounts
- Strong management accounting background
- Confident handling high volumes of basic accounting work accurately
- Happy working across multiple entities and structures
- Commercial, hands-on and adaptable approach
Working Style
- Primarily office-based initially
- Flexible working is available after induction and time established with the systems
- Some flexibility is required around time differences when working with overseas parts of the business
- The environment is collaborative and pragmatic, with a strong give-and-take culture
