We are looking for a passionate and commercially driven Account Manager to support the continued success and growth of a leading business. This role is responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies with manufacturing partners and key customers. You will work closely with manufacturing partners, multiple retail customers, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time, and in line with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting strategic partnerships with customers and manufacturing partners.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions in line with customer and manufacturing partner needs.
- Clearly communicate progress against monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and grow commercial opportunities in collaboration with internal teams and manufacturing partners.
- Support high-severity requests and manage issue escalation where required.
- Negotiate pricing and manage expenditure within agreed strategic, budget, and forecast parameters.
- Develop and deliver joint business plans to meet budget and growth expectations.
- Develop and implement appropriate promotional activity to support commercial objectives.
Skills & Experience
- North West–based, office-based role.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Own Label Account Management, preferably with Top 10 Multiple Retailers.
- Proven track record in account management or a related commercial role.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels.
- Experience delivering customer-focused solutions based on client needs.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercially astute with a proven track record of Own Label business development.
- Results-driven, highly analytical, and numerate.
- Credible, tenacious, and persuasive.
- Embraces change and continuous improvement.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Confident and experienced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
