Accounts Semi-Senior
We're working with an established and growing accountancy practice seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their professional and supportive team.
This is a varied role offering exposure across a broad range of accounting, tax and business advisory services, providing excellent opportunities for development and progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Assisting with VAT returns and ensuring compliance with Making Tax Digital requirements.
- Supporting audit assignments and wider compliance projects.
- Preparing bookkeeping and management accounts information.
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing a high standard of service.
- Working closely with senior team members to support client requirements and ongoing projects.
About you:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.
- AAT qualified, studying towards further qualifications, or qualified by experience (QBE).
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive team player with a positive and professional approach.
