My client is seeking an experienced HR Partner/ Advisor to join their Central HR Team, providing high-quality HR support to a hub of MAT schools.

In this role, the successful candidate will support the Senior HR Advisor in implementing and embedding HR strategy across the Trust, advising school leaders on employee relations, supporting recruitment and onboarding, conducting audits, and helping schools navigate organisational change.

This role is 22 hours per week and 42 weeks a year (generally term time working though some school holiday working will be required).

Please note salary quoted is the full-time equivalent and the actual salary will be "pro-rata" hours worked the range shown.

  • Provide HR partnering expertise to headteachers, governors and SLT.
  • Support recruitment and selection, including admin and pre-employment checks.
  • Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain HR records and produce reports on absence and staff turnover.
  • Support schools through restructures and organisational change.
  • Assist with induction, training coordination, and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Data Protection and Safeguarding requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) with proven HR partnering experience in schools or multi-site organisations.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, ER procedures, and safer recruitment practice.
  • Confident communicator- working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in HR/MIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative, flexible approach with a genuine commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
