HB Accident Repair Network is recruiting an experienced ATA VDA Estimator to join our modern, high-performing repair centre in Ellesmere Port. This is a key role within the site, responsible for producing accurate, compliant estimates that support workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance. This role is not suitable for candidates without hands-on estimating experience in a vehicle accident repair centre.
Role and responsibilities
- Produce accurate estimates using Audatex and/or GT Motive
- Capture all vehicle damage correctly at first assessment
- Follow approved manufacturer repair methods including Thatcham and Ezi-Methods
- Process estimates in line with site capacity, budgets, and repair schedules
- Support KPI performance around revenue, cycle time, and efficiency
- Liaise with customers to explain repairs and manage expectations
- Identify and escalate any safety-related repair concerns
- Support Customer Service teams with technical and estimating queries
- Update estimates to reflect approvals, supplements, and final invoice values
Requirements
- Proven experience as an ATA VDA Estimator within an automotive accident repair environment
- Strong knowledge of all body repair processes and procedures
- Hands-on experience using Audatex, GT Motive, Thatcham and Ezi-Methods
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy bodyshop setting
- Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail
