We are seeking a Corporate M&A Tax Director to lead and grow our transactional tax offering. This is a strategic leadership role, ideal for a senior tax professional with deep expertise in M&A, due diligence, and corporate restructuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tax input on M&A transactions, including identifying key tax risks, advising on warranties and indemnities, and reviewing sale and purchase agreements
- Oversee and deliver tax due diligence projects for both buy-side and vendor engagements
- Conduct pre-disposal tax reviews for businesses preparing for sale
- Advise on corporate and group reorganisations, presenting complex tax matters clearly to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with partners and senior stakeholders to drive growth and innovation in the deals tax service line
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering technical excellence and commercial awareness
What We’re Looking For
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified
- Extensive experience in UK corporate tax, capital and employment tax within a transactional/M&A environment
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and advise on high-value deals
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication skills and client relationship management
