Hazlewoods award‑winning Corporate Finance team provides specialist advice to small and mid‑market businesses across a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, business valuations, and raising finance for growth. Recently ranked a Top 5 UK Adviser by Experian and celebrating record-breaking results in 2025, we are now expanding our Cardiff office and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager or Assistant Manager to join us. This role offers the chance to develop your career in Corporate Finance while working on a diverse mix of transactions and an impressive, sector‑wide client base. You’ll play a key part in growing our Cardiff and South Wales offering, with full support from our large, collaborative Cheltenham-based team.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of target businesses, their markets and key value drivers
  • Analyse financial and operational information, including historical trading, cash flow and balance sheets
  • Assess current trading performance and review financial projections and underlying assumptions
  • Identify key issues and risks that could impact valuation, pricing or deal structure
  • Prepare high‑quality written reports and present key findings to Partners/Directors within agreed timescales

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Transaction Support/Advisory work
  • Managerial or Assistant Manager experience, including developing junior team members
  • Ability to identify risk and price‑affecting issues
