Are you passionate about agriculture, rural business, and client-focused accountancy and advisory work? We’re expanding our Farms & Estates team and looking for talented professionals to join us in delivering expert guidance to farmers, landowners, and agribusinesses across the UK.
Based in beautiful rural Gloucestershire, our team of 4 partners and 45 professionals works with a diverse client base, including agricultural enterprises, rural estates and landowners, food production and agribusinesses, equestrian businesses. Responsibilities
- Responsible for a mixed portfolio, overseeing the preparation and completion of annual accounts and business tax computations.
- Providing advice on annual remuneration planning and profit forecasts.
- Advising on capital taxes and review of VAT returns.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value, both in respect of tax planning and broader commercial objectives.
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
- Representing the company at various client events.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Experience in the agricultural and rural business sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Adept at developing client relationships.
- Sound working knowledge of Excel, Xero and Sage.
