Our Audit teams based in Staverton, near Cheltenham are seeking an Audit Senior to join their expanding audit team who deliver services to a diverse portfolio of clients, within a wide variety of industries. The Staverton office is based in our stunning countryside offices on the edge of the Cotswolds with easy access to the M5.
As an Audit Senior your key responsibilities will include:
- Control the audit planning and fieldwork for a client portfolio, gaining exposure to the entire audit process
- Deliver high quality, fully compliant financial statements
- Review work of team members to ensure audit objectives have been met
- Use in-depth knowledge of clients to anticipate and address challenging, complex and interesting issues.
- Assist in the management, motivation, mentoring and development of a team
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA fully qualified
- Experience working within an Audit team in a UK accountancy practice.
- Good project management techniques, including decision making ability, analytical skills, time management, organisational, evaluative and administrative skills.
- Well-developed supervisory skills, e.g. coaching and motivation of audit assistants
