Responsibilities
- Advise on business restructuring, HMRC tax clearances, tax planning and financial and tax modelling.
- Interpret and advise on technical tax matters in a pragmatic and practical way.
- Support colleagues on advisory projects and develop junior members of the team as they progress into this type of work.
- Keep the team updated on relevant changes in tax law.
Qualifications
- You are ACA/ACCA and ATT/CTA qualified.
- You have a sound understanding of accounting principles and their interaction with tax advisory.
- You have a broad technical knowledge across all taxes, in particular income tax, corporation tax and capital gains tax. An understanding of VAT, stamp duty and SDLT would be desirable.
- You have a keen interest in researching and understanding technical tax issues. Knowledge of international tax issues is desirable but not essential.
