About Us: Hazlemere is an established manufacturer specialising in aluminium window, door and facade systems for the commercial construction sector. We design and produce bespoke solutions for commercial projects and work with surveyors, technical leads and installation teams to deliver high-quality fenestration systems.
The Role: This is a development role for a technically minded individual with no prior order-processing experience required. You will be trained to receive technically approved project information from Surveyors and Technical Leads, then convert this into accurate manufacturing, procurement and production information.
You will progressively take responsibility for processing aluminium window, door and facade packages, producing manufacturing information and schedules, and ensuring information is released accurately and in accordance with company procedures. Full training will be provided in Hazlemere's products, systems and specialist software including Tech Design, LogiKal, AutoCAD and Procore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review and process technically approved survey and design information
- Process aluminium window, door and facade packages within Tech Design and LogiKal software
- Create manufacturing orders, fabrication information packs and component schedules
- Support procurement through material take-offs and procurement schedules
- Coordinate phased manufacturing releases in accordance with project programmes
- Maintain accurate revision control and ensure only approved information is released
- Upload and maintain project documentation within Procore
- Read, interpret and work with AutoCAD drawings to extract accurate dimensional information
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and escalate queries to the Technical Lead
- Carry out self-checking and quality reviews before information is released

- Strong technical, engineering or mechanical mindset with natural curiosity about product design and manufacturing
- Excellent problem-solving and logical-thinking ability with meticulous attention to detail
- Confident using computers with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Good numerical ability and confidence working with dimensions and measurements
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with willingness to ask questions
- Able to work both independently and as part of a wider team
- Positive attitude towards training, learning and continuous development
