Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting primary and secondary schools in St. Helens in their search for committed, passionate Teaching Assistants and school support staff on a short-term, long-term and flexible basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, with a good understanding of supporting neurotypical children and those with additional needs.

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g. school, residential, sports coaching.
  • An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.

Successful candidates must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • At least two references including most recent/current employer.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
