Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting an independent specialist school in Warrington, that caters for learners aged 6-16 with Autistic Spectrum Condition and associated learning needs. The school requires an enthusiastic and capable Teaching Assistant as soon as possible to support learners full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This is a temporary position although could span long-term for the right candidate.

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g school, residential, sports coaching.
  • An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.

Successful candidates must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • At least two references including most recent/current employer.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
