Do you love a vibrant, active environment? Are you passionate about health and fitness? Hazel Grove Sports Centre are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sports Centre Assistant to join their team on a casual basis. In this role you will assist in the smooth running of the Sports Centre facilities. Hazel Grove Sports Centre has a variety of sporting facilities available to hire to local community groups and sporting clubs.
In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in ensuring our facilities provide a welcoming and positive experience for all our new members. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting the daily interaction with community users along with the day-to-day cleaning, setting up and supervision of gym and sports facilities.
Please note this is a casual role, flexibility to cover a variety of shift patterns will be required. This includes evening Monday-Friday, and Saturday and Sunday.
Job Purpose:To assist in the smooth running of the sports centre facilities. To liaise with the Heads of the School PE Department to ensure smooth operation/changeover between school and community use.
Key Skills & Experience:- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
- Must be able to move equipment correctly (e.g. badminton posts, table tennis tables)
- Prior experience in a similar role
