We are looking for a creative and reliable Florist to join the team at Fable. The Florist will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, maintaining flower and plant quality, and ensuring the shop display is always fresh, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and prepare floral products including: Single flower wraps, Seasonal bouquets, Custom bouquets
- Maintain, refresh, and regularly update all in-store floral displays
- Ensure the store presentation is clean, elegant, and visually appealing at all times
- Care for fresh flowers to maximise lifespan and quality
- Look after indoor plants, including watering and basic plant care
- Assist walk-in customers with flower selection and purchases
- Handle customer sales and payments
- Receive flower deliveries, unpack, condition, and store stock correctly
- Keep the workspace clean, organised, and tidy
- Support with busy seasonal periods and special occasions
Skills & Requirements
- Previous florist or retail experience preferred
- Creative eye for design and presentation
- Good knowledge of flowers and basic plant care
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work weekends and busy seasonal dates (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Christmas)
