We are looking for motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join our team in Carlton, Barnsley. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for those with food industry experience who want to be part of a supportive and hardworking team.

Location: Carlton, Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts – Days (7 am–7 pm) and Nights (7 pm–7 am), on a rotating 3-on/3-off basis

Pay Rate: Packing Operative: £13.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing contract with immediate starts available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weigh ingredients following job sheets
  • Mix ingredients manually (gloves provided)
  • Operate or assist with bakery machinery as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area, including equipment, floors and surfaces
  • Unbox and manually handle ingredients
  • Conduct visual inspections of ingredients and finished products
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
