Hayward Hawk are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our financial services client for a Senior Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll have the opportunity to grow in your role, while playing an important part in our client's continued success. This is a hybrid role.
What you'll do:
- Monitor bank accounts regularly to verify successful transactions and liaise with banking partners to resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC as required.
- Conduct due diligence, including identity verification and risk assessments, for new clients in compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
- Ensure ongoing compliance of the fund and associated entities with investment mandates and legal obligations.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with clients and external professionals to support the effective management of the fund and its related entities.
- Open and administer bank accounts for the fund and associated companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the proper handling of funds in accordance with the fund's governing documents and regulatory requirements.
- Process fund transfers in a timely manner, particularly for investments, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements.
What you'll need:
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in relevant software and Microsoft Office applications, with particular expertise in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High standard of organisation and planning skills.
- Fund administration experience is preferable.
