If you have a strong background in Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies, including Intune, Microsoft 365, and Azure-based services, this could be the perfect role for you!
The Role:
As a Workplace Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge workplace solutions. You’ll work with a variety of clients, ensuring their IT environments are secure, modern, and efficient. This hybrid role is based in Belfast and may involve occasional travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Manager.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure using Azure, including Virtual Machines, Networking, and Identity Services.
- Implement identity and access management solutions with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and MFA.
- Ensure compliance and security across managed devices and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with customers to define and implement infrastructure strategies.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate infrastructure processes using PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Work with third-party vendors to integrate and maintain additional infrastructure solutions.
- Support IT transformation projects, including migrations to Microsoft cloud platforms.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in Microsoft infrastructure engineering within cloud and hybrid environments.
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager, including Windows Autopilot.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure services (VMs, Networking, Identity Management).
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Experience in mobile device and application management (MDM & MAM).
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar.
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or higher certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender and Security & Compliance solutions.
