HAYWARD HAWK is working with a long-standing client to find an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team. Responsibilities: Provide advanced Level 3 technical support to resolve complex networking and infrastructure issues. Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers and virtualization environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Administer and support Office 365, including user management, permissions, and security configurations. Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy settings to ensure smooth and secure network operations. Oversee mobile device management through Microsoft Intune, ensuring device compliance and security. Implement and monitor backup solutions, including performing regular backups, restores, and testing disaster recovery processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT services aligned with business needs, and document processes and solutions effectively. Assist with network infrastructure management, including configuring and troubleshooting switches, firewalls, routers, and wireless access points. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in a senior technical support role, with advanced skills in network troubleshooting and maintenance. Proficient in managing Windows servers and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V. Solid understanding and practical experience with Windows-based operating systems. Skilled in Office 365 administration. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy configurations. Proficient in Microsoft Intune and mobile device management solutions. Knowledgeable in backup solutions, including experience with Veeam or similar products. Relevant Microsoft certifications are required. Strong documentation skills and excellent communication abilities. Preferred Skills: Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
