A large, well-established financial services organisation is looking for an experienced IDM Consultant to join their team. This role sits within a specialist function responsible for delivering secure, resilient and scalable identity services across the business. This position offers the opportunity to work on a mix of change initiatives and platform enhancements, while also providing senior-level support for a complex identity management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, development and support activities across the organisation’s identity platform.
- Deliver change initiatives throughout the full IT lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, development, testing and deployment.
- Provide Level 3 support, troubleshooting issues and assisting with day-to-day production problems.
- Design, enhance and maintain workflows, provisioning processes and system integrations within the IAM environment.
- Collaborate with users, technical teams and stakeholders across the business.
- Support user acceptance testing, release planning and promotion of changes across controlled environments.
- Mentor and guide Level 2 support resources.
Experience Required
- Strong background in identity management analysis, development and implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and handle competing priorities.
- Experience supporting complex IAM platforms, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Exposure to coordinating UAT activities and working with third-party systems or interfaces.
Desirable: Knowledge of middleware, financial services environments or complex integration ecosystems.
Technical Skills
- Identity platform workflow development, provisioning processes and connector design.
- Directory services and operating systems (e.g., Active Directory/Azure AD).
- SQL (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle), PowerShell, or VB.Net.
- Application testing, defect analysis and supporting documentation practices.
- Additional exposure to ERP systems, web services or software configuration management is beneficial.
Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a similar technical field is preferred.
